HELPING TO SAVE COLLEGE GYMNASTICS
At our NY State Coaches meeting we voted to help College Gymnastics with a donation of $1 per gymnast per meet to come out of the entry fees. As many of you know, college gymnastics is in trouble. When I was in college, there were hundreds of college gymnastics programs across the country. Today there are fewer than 20. I am hoping that our example in New York will be copied at the regional and national level. If this happens, we can really make a difference. I feel that with our support, the College Intercollegiate Gymnastics Support Program can do two things: Help save college programs that are in trouble and start up new NCAA programs in colleges that already have an existing club program. If you would like to help, or if you have any questions about the MIGS Program, please check out their web site at http://www.migsp.org/
CONGRATULATIONS
HECTOR SALAZAR
